FAQs

Who do you work with?

I specialize with individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, religious trauma, or any type of relational issues or life transition that is occurring. I work a lot with men who are navigating difficult life situations and help them connect with their emotions on a deeper and healthier level.

I have a strong understanding with the LGBTQIA+ community and I work a lot with individuals and couples within this community. As an openly gay man, I work a lot within this community!

I see youth ages 16+, young adults, adults, and queer couples (limited availability).

Do you see people Online and in-person?

Yes, I offer both in-person and online therapy! The office is located at:

7200 E Dry Creek Rd C-203

Centennial, Colorado 80112

What happens during the first session?

During the first 1-3 sessions, our primary focus will be on building rapport with one another. I am a firm believer in developing a genuine professional relationship with my clients. I strive to make the therapy space a safe space for you to openly explore and discuss the difficulties that you may be experiencing in your life.

That being said, some people like to jump in right away, and for some, it takes more time. I will meet you where you are and go at your own pace.

Session Fee:

$125 for a 55-minute individual session.

$150 for a 55-minute couples session.

I offer 4 sliding scale options for those who are unable to pay that amount.

  1. $100

  2. $80

  3. $70

  4. $50

I am a firm believer in making therapy more accessible and I have had moments in my life where I could not afford therapy, which is why I offer these sliding scale spots. Please reach out to me about the availability for sliding scale spots, or if you need flexibility in your session costs.

Accepted Payment Methods:

Cash, Check, HSA accounts, Debit/Credit Cards

I do not currently accept insurance, however, I am happy to provide you with a superbill so that you can seek reimbursement. Most insurances cover anywhere from 90%-50% of fees with an out-of-network provider.

Please check with your provider about your specific coverage. Some people choose to use their health savings account or flex spending account which does not require a diagnosis or limit services in any way.

Payment System:

All payments are processed electronically through the Ivy Pay system, which is a system designed exclusively for therapists for secure and HIPPA compliant credit/debit card storage. The initial setup for payment will happen during the first session, and I will charge that secure card after each of our sessions.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

Clients are requested to cancel sessions with a 24-hour notice. If a 24-hour notice is not given there will be a cancellation fee applied (full session fee), due to the difficulty of filling a spot with limited notice. Each client will have a one-time pass and a cancellation fee will not be charged.

I am here to address any hesitancies, concerns, or questions you may have! What is most important is that you feel comfortable, safe, and trust your therapist to help you out during this time in your life.
